We have been planning this Preparation Day for a couple of weeks now. We picked up Jeppesons at 7:00 a.m. and Storeys followed in their car. We headed for Moline, Iowa, to the John Deere Harvestor Works factory. ACRES of equipment and workers. We got there at 10:00 and took a 1 1/2 hour tour of the plant. We rode on a cart with earphones and a tour guide. It was hot, but I did find the painting part, and the assembly line part most interesting. What a huge operation.
We ate lunch at the River Front Grill and then walked across the street to the John Deere Pavilion, where there were many historic tractors on display. It was a 2 1/4 hour drive each way, but at least we got a "blizzard" at Dairy Queen on the way home, treat of Elder Jeppeson.

Jeppesons, Us, and Storeys. In the evening, we walked over to Pageant and put our parents names in the Nauvoo Cousins computers. We found out we are each "cousins, many times removed" from many of the Nauvoo people like Joseph Smith, Wilford Woodruff, etc. If you go back far enough, everyone is related!
