I am not taking too many pictures, mostly of my companions, but here are a few things we have enjoyed. View of the blossoms out our back door......
Sunset on the Mississippi.
Getting letters and packages in the mailroom. You can see why it is important to write our real names on the envelope. There are always some floating around that say "Grandma and Grandpa", and then someone will claim it if they recognize it.
This is the waitress and the antique cash register she still uses (don't you love it?) at the Bonaparte Retreat, a homey little restaurant on the way to Cantril, Iowa. Greg loves that they have a "blue plate special".
We have had some good rain storms this spring. These California sisters loved playing in the rain. "This is as close as we get to swimming on our mission".
We took a little trip to Quincy with E/S Davis. He is the one that reminds me of Uncle Howard. The island there is named Quinsippi. Clever.
Still having fun, and keeping busy!
